- Download the software from our homepage, then follow the simple installation instructions – you’re just a few clicks away from being able to play poker. If you have not done so before, you will be given the option of creating a new account and will be prompted to fill in some personal information that we need to create and manage your account. This information is kept strictly confidential; we do NOT share it with any third-party company or organization.
- Simply click on the Create New Account button and enter your details in three quick and easy steps, remembering to read and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Now click on Create at the bottom of the window and wait until the Welcome to Nuts Poker! message is displayed, confirming your successful registration. An email will be automatically sent to the address you registered with.
- Choose your preferred poker nickname, using letters and/or digits only, in the window which appears (you may have to come up with an alternative if your first choice has already been taken by another player). Then decide if you wish to display your location to the other players on the network and click on “OK” to complete the process.
- Play some poker!! You may wish to deposit immediately by clicking on the “Cashier” button at the bottom of the window to select your preferred deposit method. (If you haven’t played before we recommend that you start off on the play money tables until you feel ready to play for real).
The navigation bar on the left of the poker client displays cash tables and tournaments; choose the type of game (Hold’em, Omaha, or Stud) and the stakes you wish to play at.
For example: click on Cash Tables, then on No Limit Hold’em, then on $0.10/$0.20 NL; a selection of tables will be displayed. To join a table which is not yet full simply click on the Join Table button in the bottom right corner of the client, then select an empty seat when the table pops up and specify how much of your available funds you wish to play with. After that all you have to do is slaughter the opposition…
Nuts Poker assigns you a unique username and sends it to your e-mail address. You'll need to type your username and your password every time you wish to login to Nuts Poker. Note: It is very important that you fill in your correct and valid information so we will be able to pay your winnings. After you have completed the registration, you will be taken to the Register a New Credit Card screen, so you can register your credit card for use in the poker system, or choose another payment method.
You can customize your game environment by adjusting any of the following options:
Please note that the Poker Options tab is available from the lobby only - these settings cannot be changed while you have a table window open.
Avatar - Here you can choose your avatar - that is how other people will see and hear you. The avatars only appear when you play the game in Side View mode.
Audio Volume - Drag the slider to the right or left to lower or raise the volume.
Sound - Select this to enable ambient sound effects.
Music - Select this to listen to background music while you play.
Dealer Sounds - Select this to hear the dealer speaking while you play. The sound option must also be selected in order to hear the dealer.
Player Sounds - Select this to hear other players during play. The sound option must also be selected in order to hear the players.
Enable Full Screen mode - Select this to display poker in full-screen mode. When this option is not selected you will see the Poker displayed in a mid-size window.
Chat - view bubbles - Select where you want to see the chat when you're playing at a table.
