Irish Open 2010

♠ iPoker will run a super satellite promotion to the Irish Open, 2010.
The event will be held at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, April 1st – April 5th, 2009.

About the event: The Irish Poker Open is the longest running No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament in Europe and second longest in the world after the World Series of Poker and is traditionally held over Easter weekend each year in Dublin, a city renowned for a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Recent winners of the Irish Open include 2007 Champion Marty Smyth who captured the €650,000 first prize when defeating Roland DeWolfe heads up on a final table which also included online tournament phenomenon Sorrel Mizzi.
Smyth and DeWolfe were later to win WSOP Championship Bracelets.

The 2008 Irish Open Main Event was won by English poker pro Neil Channing, who took home the winner’s purse of €801,400 after defeating local favourite Donal Norton heads up.
More recently the 2009 Irish Open Main Event was won by Swedish professional Christer Johansson, who won a €600,000 first prize. He beat British-Canadian Kara Scott and Canadian professional Andrew Pantling after an epic final table duel.


♠ Total package value - $7,200 (€4,800).
♠ The package includes:
♠ €3,200+€300 buy-in to the Main Event.
♠ €350 for 5 nights’ accommodation and breakfast at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, March 31st – April 6th, 2010.
♠ €100 for party/lounge.
♠ €50 for handling fees.
♠ €800 for flights and spending.


♠ The first prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be converted to cash. You must play or forfeit the seat.
♠ By playing or winning the Irish Open super satellite you declare that you are ready and able to travel to Dublin, Ireland, in order to play at the Irish Open event. This includes any and all documents required for travel to the destination.

Structure A

♠ Weekly Super Satellites, Sundays at 19:30, buy-in is $250+$18, freezeout.
♠ Minimum number of players in the super satellites is 25.
♠ Satellites will start on October 27th.
♠ First Super Satellite on November 1st.
♠ Last Super Satellite on March 21st.

♠ Ongoing Sit’N’Go stage 1 satellites to the Super Satellite, $53.6+$5 (5 players).
♠ Ongoing Sit’N’Go stage 1 satellites to the Super Satellite, $26.8+$3 (10 players).
♠ Stage 1 Satellite $33.5+$3.5 freezeout, 1 seat for every $268 collected, daily at 16:35
♠ Ongoing stage 2 Sit’N’Go satellites, $3.7+$0.3 (10 players), to the 16:35 stage 1.
♠ Stage 2 Satellite $5+$0.5 R/A, daily at 13:40, 1 seat for every $37 collected to the
16:35 Stage 1.
♠ Stage 2 Satellite $2+$0.2 Turbo R/A, daily at 10:20, 1 seat for every $37 collected

♠ Stage 1 Satellite $22+$2 R/A, 1 seat for every $268 collected, daily at 20:30 except Sundays.
♠ Stage 2 Satellite $3+$0.3 R/A, daily at 17:35 & 23:25, 1 seat for every $24

♠ Minimum number of players in the super satellites is 30.

♠ First Super Satellite on December 8th, 2009.
♠ Last Super Satellite on March 17th, 2010.

♠ Ongoing Sit’N’Go stage 1 satellite to the super satellite, $10+1 (10 players), 2nd place wins $12.
♠ Stage 1 satellite $8+$0.8, Turbo R/A, 1 seat for every $88 collected, daily at 13:25.
♠ Stage 1 satellite $11+$1.1, Turbo R/A, 1 seat for every $88 collected, daily at 17:25.
♠ Stage 2 satellite $1.5+0.15, Turbo R/A, 1 seat for every $12.1 collected, daily at 14:20 to
the 17:25.
♠ Stage 1 Satellite $5.5+$0.55 Turbo R/A, 1 seat for every $88 collected, daily at 09:40 &
21:35.
♠ Ongoing “1 Hand” stage 2 Sit’N’Go satellites, $0.60+$0.06 (10 players), 1st place
wins a seat to the 21:35 stage 1.

♠ iPoker will run a ticket only satellite promotion to the Irish Open 2010.
Each ticket only super satellite winner will receive a seat to the Irish Open Main Event, and an entry to the players’ lounge.
♠ Total Seat Value - €3,600.
♠ Weekly Super Satellites, Thursdays at 19:30, Buy-In is €175 + €13 Freezeout.
♠ Minimum number of players in the super satellites is 10.
♠ Satellites will start on January 4th, 2010.
♠ First Super Satellite on January 7th, 2010.
♠ Last Super Satellite on March 25th 2010.

♠ Ongoing SNG stage 1 satellites to the Super Satellite, €40+€4 (5 players), 2nd place wins €12.
♠ Ongoing SNG stage 1 satellites to the Super Satellite, €20+€2(10 players),2nd place wins €12.
♠ Stage 1 Satellite €18 + €1.8 Turbo R/A, 1 seat for every €188 collected, Daily at 15:05 &
19:05.
♠ Ongoing stage 2 SNG satellites, €3.3 + €0.33 Turbo (6 players), to the 19:05 stage1.

Nuts Poker Super Satellite Tournament Terms and Conditions

  1. First prizes at Super Satellites are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be converted to cash.
  2. Any individual player can win only one seat at a Super Satellite and the corresponding mainland Main Event.
  3. Participants in Super Satellites must be at least 18 years of age, unless specified differently.
  4. Players are responsible to have a valid passport and all other documentation
    necessary to participate in mainland poker tournaments.
  5. Players from the same IP address, or from the same household, are not eligible to participate in Super Satellite promotions.
  6. A player found trying to enter with more than one account into a tournament
    will not be eligible for Super Satellite promotions.
  7. The use of offensive language at the tournaments will disqualify
    a player from participating in Super Satellite promotions.
  8. Any player found colluding during the course of a tournament will be
    disqualified and his account will be frozen.
  9. Any player found to be "soft playing" in order to allow another
    player to win during the course of a tournament will have his account frozen.
  10. Any withdrawals made on any winnings at the tournaments are subject
    to Nuts Poker's standard withdrawal procedure and collusion check.
  11. By qualifying for Super Satellite promotions, players agree that their
    real names, aliases and images can be used for promotional purposes.
  12. By entering the Super Satellite promotions, players agree that, should
    they win a mainland poker tournament seat, they will wear Nuts Poker
    apparel (hats and/or T-Shirts) in accordance with the instructions
    of Nuts Poker management.
  13. Nuts Poker shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of a Super Satellite Package as a direct or
    indirect result of accepting the mainland poker tournament seat.
  14. All decisions made by the Nuts Poker management are final.
  15. Nuts Poker cannot advise on the tax position of winners, as some jurisdictions treat poker wins as tax free, while in other jurisdictions such proceeds are taxable. If the winnings are taxable in a player's jurisdiction, the player is solely responsible to keep track of and report his/her winnings to the appropriate authorities. Likewise, Nuts Poker cannot advise on whether the playing of poker over the Internet is lawful in a player's jurisdiction.
  16. Nuts Poker has the right to stop its promotions, or change their conditions at any time.
