Nuts Points are points you automatically accumulate as you play for real money at cash tables and in tournaments. They can be converted to real money, or used instead of cash to buy in to Nuts Points tournaments.
Your Nuts Points balance is shown in the My Account section of the poker software, under the Nuts Points tab. Here you can see how many Nuts Points, bonus dollars and tournament tokens you have. You can also see your VIP level, and how many Nuts Points you need to collect by a particular date to be upgraded to the next level.
Using Nuts Points
Every time you contribute real money to a pot in a cash game or buy in to a real money tournament you are awarded Nuts Points. How many you get depends on various factors, probably the most important of which is your VIP level. To see exactly how many Nuts Points you earn when playing for real money refer to the table on the VIP Levels page.
Once you have sufficient Nuts Points and have reached at least the VIP status of Junior Nut, you can convert them into real money which will be added to your balance. The conversion rate is 1000:1. For example, converting 1000 Nuts Points will give you $1 (or the equivalent in your selected currency). Conversion is done by clicking the Cash In Nuts Points button in the Cashier. Please note that the minimum cash-out is 20,000 Nuts Points.
You can also use Nuts Points in some tournaments, to cover the fee and the buy-in, click here for details.
Nuts Tokens
One of these tokens will get you into a tournament with no additional costs - you don't have to pay the fee or the buy-in.
The Nuts Points tab of the My Account section in the poker software shows all the tokens you currently have. When you open a tournament info window and click Register, you have the choice of using real money, Nuts Points or tokens. This selection is made using the radio buttons in the Registration cost box. A dropdown box next to the Tokens option lets you select which token you would like to use to register.
Please note that not all tokens can be used for all tournaments. Tokens are only valid for a limited range of tournaments.
Bonus dollars
Bonus dollars are awarded via various promotions, such as a deposit bonus or winnings in the Nutspoker daily freerolls, for example. They are converted to real money and added to your balance automatically as you accumulate Nuts Points. You can see how many bonus dollars you have and how many Nuts Points you still need to accumulate in order to convert them to real money under the Nuts Points tab of the My Account section in the poker software.
